Scrap Box Patchwork Designs
Scrap Box Patchwork Designs began in 2011. Fiona Ferguson and Wendy Morrow gathered their bits and pieces and set about designing a quilt for a Ronald McDonald House fundraiser. This quilt (called funky Farmyard) and pattern were so successful that both Wendy and Fiona decided to continue designing quilts using items from their stash. They try to meet once a week and sew the night away but also keep in regular contact using the email and telephone. The designs are different, fun and can be interpreted any way individuals choose.
The number of patterns available continues to grow. There are always more on the drawing table and new designs are being released regularly. The quilts are fun to assemble because you can use any scrap fabric and make the quilt as wacky as you wish or use traditional fabrics to gain your desired result.
Whatever the outcome – have fun!
